Engineering Manager - Web & Mobile Platforms

Role : Engineering Manager (Web & Mobile Platforms)

Location : Gurugram (On-site)

Role Overview :

Were looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead the development of our web and mobile platforms from our Gurugram office.

Youll be responsible for both roadmap ownership and execution across :

- Web Suite Including the Itinerary Co-Pilot, Operations Portal, Accounts Portal, and the core systems managing bookings, payments, and customer data.

- Mobile App A Flutter-based travel app enabling users to plan, book, and manage trips.

Youll take full ownership of in-house development.

You'll manage a team of 68 engineers (full-stack, mobile, and backend), ensuring timely delivery, technical quality, and high team performance.

Key Responsibilities :

- End-to-End Feature Delivery : Own the architecture, planning, and timely launch of features across web, mobile, and backend systems.

- Technical Leadership : Provide oversight on React, Node.js, Flutter/Dart, and backend services via design/code reviews and mentoring.

- Team & Project Management : Maintain up-to-date task tracking and conduct detailed twice-weekly sprint reviews to assess progress, reprioritize tasks, and mitigate risks.

- Code Quality : Review code thoroughly, offer constructive feedback, and uphold high engineering standards.

- Release Management : Manage app/web releases, resolve bugs swiftly, and ensure stability during rollouts.

- Product Improvements : Work closely with sales and operations teams to turn user feedback into impactful product enhancements.

Requirements :

- 7+ years of experience developing and shipping scalable web and mobile products.

- At least 23 years of experience leading engineering teams as an Engineering Manager, Tech Lead, or similar.

- Proven expertise in full-stack development with React, Node.js (MERN/MEAN stacks), and solid SQL/NoSQL database skills.

- End-to-end mobile app development experience in Flutter (or native iOS/Android), including publishing to Play Store/App Store.

- Strong cloud infrastructure experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and solid understanding of DevOps practices.

- Proficiency with Python and FastAPI is a plus.

- Strong product sense and analytical thinking with the ability to balance user needs, technical debt, and delivery speed.

- Startup mentality adaptable, hands-on, and outcome-driven.

- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
