Engineering Manager - System Design

Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead software engineering teams, drive product delivery, and establish strong engineering practices. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strong people-management skills to define technical strategy, ensure high-quality software delivery, and build scalable, high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead, mentor, and manage software engineering teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

- Define and execute technical strategies and engineering roadmaps aligned with business and product objectives.

- Drive end-totoproduct development and ensure timely, highquality delivery.

- Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, DevOps, and other crossfunctional teams to deliver businesscritical solutions.

- Establish and maintain high standards for code quality, architecture, testing, security, and engineering best practices.

- Review technical designs and provide guidance on architecture, technology selection, and implementation approaches.

- Identify technical risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks and drive their resolution.

- Promote scalable, reliable, and highperformance software engineering practices.

- Monitor engineering metrics and continuously improve development processes and delivery efficiency.

- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to established development standards.

- Support hiring, onboarding, performance management, and career development of engineering talent.

- Mentor engineers and technical leads, helping them develop their technical and leadership capabilities.

- Drive adoption of automation, CI/CD, DevOps practices, and modern engineering tools where appropriate.

- Communicate engineering progress, risks, and priorities effectively to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong experience in software engineering and engineering management.

- Proven experience leading and mentoring software development teams.

- Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, design patterns, and development methodologies.

- Experience building and delivering scalable, reliable, and highperformance applications.

- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, and engineering best practices.

- Experience with cloud platforms, DevOps, CI/CD, and modern software development practices.

- Strong understanding of application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.

- Experience collaborating with product and crossfunctional teams to deliver complex technology products.

- Strong problemsolving, decisionmaking, and stakeholdermanagement skills.
