Role Overview :

We are looking for a highly technical Engineering Manager with deep expertise in .NET technologies who will lead a team of engineers while actively contributing to system architecture, design, and coding.

This role requires a strong engineering leader who enjoys solving complex technical problems, building scalable SaaS platforms, mentoring engineers, and writing production-quality code.

You will play a key role in architecting high-performance systems, improving engineering practices, and building robust enterprise applications used globally.

Key Responsibilities :

Hands-On Engineering Leadership :

- Lead a team of engineers while actively contributing to coding and system design

- Architect and develop scalable enterprise applications using .NET Core

- Define technical architecture and engineering standards for the platform

- Review and improve system design, performance, scalability, and reliability

Software Development & Architecture :

- Design and build high-performance APIs and microservices

- Drive best practices in clean code, design patterns, and software architecture

- Implement scalable systems capable of supporting large-scale global usage

- Improve system performance, observability, and maintainability

Engineering Excellence :

- Conduct rigorous code reviews and architectural reviews

- Establish strong engineering practices including CI/CD, testing, and code quality

- Mentor and develop engineers through technical coaching and guidance

- Collaborate with product and architecture teams to deliver robust solutions

Team Leadership :

- Lead and mentor a team of developers

- Participate in hiring and building high-quality engineering teams

- Promote a strong engineering culture focused on quality, innovation, and ownership

Technical Skills Required :

- Strong hands-on experience with:

1. Strong knowledge of C# / .NET (Full Framework)

2. .NET Core / .NET (8)

3. ASP.NET / ASP.NET Core

4. Entity Framework / Entity Framework Core

- Proficiency in React, HTML, and CSS for use within ASP.NET MVC.

- Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, including query optimization and performance tuning.

- Strong experience in REST Services and API design principles.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering practical solutions.

- Experience in designing and implementing task scheduling, batching, and background worker processing.

- Proficiency in Git for version control and collaboration.

- Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Desired Skills :

- Experience in leading and mentoring development teams.

- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, contributing to overall team success.

- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Educational Qualifications & Experience :

- Bachelor's degree in Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training.

- 15 - 20 years of professional experience in software development with .NET technologies.

- 3+ years of experience in an Engineering Manager role, with direct involvement in team leadership and mentoring.
