Engineering Manager - MERN Stack

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and manage a team of engineers for application development and ongoing support

- Own end-to-end delivery of web applications (frontend, backend, deployment, and maintenance)

- Work closely with product, business, and client stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions

- Drive development of client applications and internal consoles using MERN stack

- Ensure high code quality, performance, and reliability of applications

- Introduce and implement AI-assisted coding practices to improve engineering productivity

- Explore and build AI-driven application features/use cases

- Handle production issues, debugging, and continuous improvements

- Mentor team members and establish engineering best practices

Required Skills & Experience :

- 4 to 8 years of experience in full-stack development

- Strong hands-on experience with MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js)

- Mandatory experience with NestJS and Next.js

- Prior experience in leading or mentoring a small team

- Good understanding of application architecture, APIs, and scalable system design

- Experience in handling production support and client-facing applications

- Exposure to AI coding tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.)

- Basic to intermediate experience in AI/ML or AI application integration

- Strong problem-solving and ownership mindset
