About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a full-stack engineering team responsible for building and scaling partner-facing products across web, SDKs, dashboards, and APIs.
The role involves owning the complete product engineering lifecycle - from roadmap prioritization and technical execution to product performance, reliability, partner integrations, and team development.
You will work closely with founders, leadership, business development, product, and external partners to build reliable technology powering critical payment and financial workflows across global markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of full-stack engineers, ensuring high-quality and predictable delivery.
- Own the product roadmap for the team's engineering surface and prioritize initiatives based on business and customer impact.
- Drive the development of web applications, SDKs, dashboards, APIs, and other partner-facing products.
- Own key product funnels, particularly KYC and payment journeys, by analyzing user behavior, identifying drop-offs, and driving improvements in conversion and completion rates.
- Ensure high availability, reliability, correctness, and observability across critical payment and transaction workflows.
- Lead technical integrations with external partners and internal teams, from initial technical scoping through implementation and go-live.
- Establish strong engineering practices around architecture, code quality, testing, monitoring, incident management, and technical documentation.
- Partner with Product, Business Development, and Leadership teams to translate business priorities into a clear and executable engineering roadmap.
- Hire, coach, develop, and retain high-performing engineers while establishing a strong culture of ownership and engineering excellence.
- Balance short-term execution with long-term technical scalability and maintainability.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- 3+ years of experience managing and leading engineering teams.
- Strong full-stack engineering expertise with hands-on experience in technologies such as TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Node.js, Go, and/or Rust.
- Proven experience building, shipping, and operating production-grade software systems.
- Strong understanding of system reliability, scalability, error handling, monitoring, and observability.
- Experience working on products where correctness, reliability, and uptime are critical.
- Demonstrated ownership of engineering delivery, with a track record of taking products/features from concept to production.
- Strong product mindset with experience using data, metrics, and user funnels to identify problems and drive product improvements.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage in technical discussions with engineers and partners while also communicating roadmap and business priorities with senior leadership.
Good to Have:
- Experience in payments, fintech, financial infrastructure, or other high-stakes technology environments.
- Understanding of payment rails, KYC, compliance, or financial transaction workflows.
- Experience with cryptocurrency, stablecoins, wallets, exchanges, or blockchain infrastructure.
- Experience working in an early-stage or high-growth technology company where priorities and scope evolve rapidly.
What You Can Expect:
- Ownership of an important product surface used by major global wallets, exchanges, and fintech platforms.
- High degree of autonomy and direct exposure to senior leadership and founders.
- Opportunity to lead a high-impact engineering team and influence product and technology strategy.
- Fast-paced, high-ownership environment with significant scope for decision-making and execution.
- Opportunity to work on next-generation payments and financial infrastructure across global markets.
