Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our full-stack engineering team (MERN) and drive the design, scalability, and security of our applications. The ideal candidate will mentor engineers, translate business requirements into technical solutions, and oversee delivery, fostering a culture of engineering excellence and innovation.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of full-stack engineers (MERN).

- Own system architecture, scalability, and security considerations across platforms.

- Translate business needs into technical solutions and guide implementation.

- Oversee sprint planning, delivery, and performance monitoring.

- Foster innovation, best practices, and engineering excellence across the team.

- Collaborate with product, design, and cross-functional teams to drive impactful solutions.

Requirements :

- 8+ years of software development experience, with 3+ years in team leadership.

- Strong expertise in the MERN stack : MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js.

- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), microservices, and containerization (Docker).

- Experience in fintech product development is preferred.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Good-to-Have :

- Proficiency in TypeScript, GraphQL, WebSockets.

- Exposure to DevOps practices.

- Domain experience in lending, payments, or financial services.
