Engineering Manager - Full Stack

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and execute the technical vision, architecture, and roadmap in collaboration with product and business stakeholders.

- Ensure best practices in software design, development, testing, and deployment are followed.

- Work hands-on when required, particularly in areas involving Node.js, Python, and React.js.

- Oversee the design and implementation of scalable backend systems using MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and optimized data modeling.

- Advocate for and implement cloud-native, microservices-based architectures on AWS.

- Manage and improve CI/CD pipelines, and enforce DevOps best practices using Docker and Kubernetes.

- Foster a culture of performance, innovation, collaboration, and accountability within the engineering team.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, QA, etc.) to deliver high-impact features on time.

- Lead code and architecture reviews, mentor engineers on technical and professional growth.

- Contribute to strategic planning, hiring decisions, and scaling the engineering function.

Required Qualifications :

- 10+ years of professional software development experience.

- Minimum 3 years of experience in engineering leadership or people management roles.

- Proficiency in Node.js, Python, and React.js for building modern web applications.

- Strong experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and data modeling for performance and scalability.

- In-depth understanding of cloud-native architecture, microservices, and serverless computing on AWS.

- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, with working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and inspire teams.

- Proven experience managing and growing high-performing engineering teams in fast-paced

environments.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in Agile/Scrum-based environments.

- Experience working in product-based or high-growth technology companies
