We are seeking a highly experienced and passionate Engineering Manager with a strong frontend background to guide our development efforts and inspire our engineering team. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in modern web technologies, a proven track record of building complex, high-performance web applications, and significant experience in technical leadership and mentorship. You will be instrumental in defining our frontend architecture, setting technical standards, and fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented engineering culture.

Key Responsibilities :

- Technical Leadership & Strategy : Define the technical roadmap and architectural direction for our frontend stack, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance.

- Team Management & Mentorship : Lead, mentor, and coach a team of frontend engineers, conducting code reviews, setting development standards, and facilitating career growth.

- Hands-on Development : Act as a senior individual contributor, designing and implementing complex features and critical components using modern JavaScript frameworks.

- Collaboration : Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend teams to translate user requirements and design mockups into high-quality, functional user interfaces.

- Quality Assurance : Drive best practices for testing, performance optimization, accessibility, and security across the frontend codebase.

- Process Improvement : Champion Agile/Lean development methodologies and continuous improvement in the engineering process.

Required Qualifications :

- 8+ years of hands-on experience in frontend development with a focus on building complex, production-ready web applications.

- Deep expertise in modern JavaScript/TypeScript and a mastery of a leading framework such as React, Vue, or Angular.

- 2+ years of experience managing or leading engineering teams (formal management, Tech Lead, or Team Lead role).

- Strong foundational knowledge of web technologies : HTML5, CSS3, and effective consumption of data via RESTful or GraphQL APIs.

- Proven track record of building scalable, maintainable, and performant web applications.

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with Server-Side Rendering (SSR) frameworks like Next.js, Remix, or Nuxt.

- Knowledge of design systems and implementing component-driven architecture for consistent and efficient UI development.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and deployment pipelines for modern web applications.

- Strong background in Agile or Lean software development practices.

- Passion for mentoring junior to mid-level engineers and actively contributing to building an inclusive engineering culture.
