Role : Engineering Manager, Finance Platform Automation

Experience, Skills and Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

- 8+ years in software engineering with a focus on finance tech, integration, and workflow automation.

- 3+ years in engineering leadership, managing teams of 3+ engineers.

- 5+ years of hands-on experience delivering cloud-scale, service-oriented solutions in distributed microservices environments.

- Strong leadership and mentoring skills; effective in matrixed environments with dual reporting lines.

- Expert in Java, Python, Javascript; knowledge/understanding of ERP, CPQ, billing, payments, deal execution, and financial controls.

- Knowledge of workflow automation tools (e.g., Workato), REST/OpenAPI web services, messaging frameworks (e.g., Kafka), ELK, data platforms (e.g., Snowflake), monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana), cloud technologies (AWS/GCP), and containerization (Kubernetes/Docker).

- Proficient with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native development focusing on scalability, resiliency, and recoverability.

- Solid grasp of Agile, DevOps, and modern SDLC best practices.

- Excellent problem-solving skills with an emphasis on innovation and scalability.

- Skilled at cross-functional collaboration with EM partners and business stakeholders.

- Experience in financial services or B2B platforms is a plus.
