Responsibilities :

- Manage software development projects by setting requirements, goals and timelines.

- Create clear career paths for team members and help them grow with regular & deep mentoring. Perform regular performance evaluation and share and seek feedback.

- Able to drive sprints and OKRs.

- Map business objectives to an optimum engineering structure within your team, including correct estimation of resource allocation.

- Design, architected and driven implementation of key engineering features.

- Plan and track development and release schedules, and provided visible leadership in crisis.

- Establish and follow best practices, including coding standards and technical task management.

Technology Stack :

- Java, Spring, MySQL, NoSQL, AWS, Kafka, Spark, Kotlin, RxJava, Elastic-search, Swift, Airflow, Redshift, ReactJS, Redux, NodeJS, RestAssured, Appium.

Must-Have Experience & skills :

- Bachelors / master's in computer science or equivalent from a premier institute with at least 8+ years over all professional experience and 2+ years- experience in managing/leading software development teams.

- Experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python, Java, Scala, etc.

- Expertise in big data tools like Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, fink, Hive, Sqoop etc.

- Deep understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases like Mysql, Postgres, Mongodb and Cassandra.

- Good experience on cloud infrastructure - AWS preferably - EC2, S3, EMR, RDS, Redshift, BigQuery.

- Experience with stream-processing systems like: Storm, Spark-Streaming, Flink etc.

- Ability to think and analyse both breadthwise and depth-wise while designing and implementing services.

- Excellent teamwork skills, flexibility, and ability to handle multiple tasks.

- Exceptional team managing skills; experience in building large scale distributed Systems.
