Engineering Manager - Big Data

Description :

- Prioritize, delegate and supervise all engineers activities and deliverables following on the company's best practices and standards.

- Manage, support, and evaluate engineers performance.

- Provide input in strategic technical decisions and solutions, when needed.

- Communicate and collaborate with other managers and stakeholders keeping them aligned on the delivery status.

- Ensure company's values are being followed by the team members.

Skills Required :

- Overall 10+ years of experience in mentoring technical teams either as lead developer / QA

- Able to understand technical topics/terminologies of Java/Scala stream processing, ETL, Backend API

- Knowledge of Kafka and Kubernetes is a plus

- Must have worked on micro services architecture.

- Ability to provide technical guidance to development team during solution implementation.
