About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager with a strong background in Full Stack Development, Cloud Technologies, and AWS Infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have expertise in both frontend and backend development, along with hands-on experience in designing scalable cloud-native applications and leading high-performing engineering teams. This role requires a blend of technical leadership, architecture expertise, and people management to drive the successful delivery of enterprise-grade applications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, ensuring high-quality software delivery and engineering excellence.

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using modern JavaScript frameworks and backend technologies.

- Architect and implement cloud-native solutions on AWS with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security.

- Build and manage RESTful and SOAP-based APIs and integrate with enterprise systems.

- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT data pipelines using AWS services and workflow orchestration tools.

- Collaborate with Product, DevOps, QA, and Architecture teams to deliver robust software solutions.

- Drive best practices in system design, code quality, CI/CD, security, and performance optimization.

- Ensure high availability and resilience of applications through effective cloud infrastructure management.

- Conduct technical design reviews, code reviews, and provide architectural guidance to the team.

- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance engineering productivity and delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 10+ years of software development experience with proven experience in an Engineering Manager or Technical Leadership role.

- Strong experience in Full Stack Development, including both frontend and backend technologies.

- Hands-on experience with modern JavaScript Frameworks (React.js, Angular, Vue.js, or similar).

- Strong backend development experience using Node.js and Python.

- Expertise in AWS Cloud services, including:

1. ECS / EKS

2. AWS Lambda

3. API Gateway

4. VPC

5. ELB

6. Route 53

7. SNS & SQS

8. AWS Glue

9. Redshift

- Experience with Cloud Integrations and implementing secure, scalable cloud architectures.

- Strong knowledge of REST and SOAP web services.

- Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.

- Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration.

- Familiarity with networking and load-balancing technologies such as F5, Route 53, and ELB.

- Strong understanding of application security, cloud security best practices, and performance optimization.

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience managing Agile engineering teams.

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation), and containerized deployments.

- Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.

- Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar.

- AWS certifications are an added advantage.

Education:

- B.Tech / B.E. in any specialization or equivalent qualification.
