Job description :

The Engineering Manager is an integral part of the technical application development team and primarily responsible for building and delivering the enterprise IT solutions. This position provides opportunity to lead and manage projects and programs for internal IT organization. Engineering manager is a hands-on technical manager managing significant strategic and technical aspect of projects and programs, including communications with Leadership, leading multifunctional teams, quality, and adherence to standards.

Responsibilities :

- Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications

- Provide hands-on expertise in ASP.NET, C#, React/Angular, SQL Server, and Microsoft Azure

- Drive architecture decisions, code reviews, and best practices

- Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and performance benchmarks

- Participate in critical development tasks when required

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of developers, QA engineers, and technical leads

- Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and support career development

- Foster a collaborative, innovative, and high-performance team culture

- Allocate tasks and manage workload distribution effectively

- Own end-to-end delivery of application development projects

- Plan, execute, and monitor multiple projects simultaneously

- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality

Qualifications :

Required :

- Education qualification : BE /B Tech ( IT/CS/Electronics) / MCA / MSc Computer science

- 10+ years of IT experience in application development, support, or maintenance activities

- 4+ years of team management experience(technically)

- Must have experience on at least 2 full life cycle of software development.

- Hands on experience on ASP.NET , C# , HTML , CSS , JavaScript , React / Angular, SQL server and Microsoft Azure

Preferred :

- 2+ years of experiencing in Agile / scrum methodology.

- Client facing and exposure to onshore offshore delivery model.

- Experience in working in a global environment involving multiple development sites on various time zones.
