Engineering Manager

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead, mentor, and develop engineers, ensuring skill growth and a high-performance culture.

- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of software projects, ensuring scalability, reliability, and quality.

- Work closely with product, design, and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.

- Establish engineering processes, monitor progress, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery of projects.

- Stay updated on emerging technologies and drive adoption of best practices and new tools.

- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and secure web applications.

- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and Python.

- Develop and enhance Chrome Extensions for optimized user experiences.

- Work with modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js) to build interactive UIs.

- Integrate APIs and third-party services to extend product capabilities.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams product, design, and QA to deliver robust solutions.

- Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment.

- Leverage cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for hosting, CI/CD, and microservice deployment.

- Monitor application performance and optimize for scalability and speed.

- Stay up to date with emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.

- Solid hands-on experience with Node.js for backend services.

- Working knowledge of Python for automation or backend scripts.

- Expertise in modern frontend frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.

- Experience developing and publishing Chrome Extensions.

- Understanding of RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and microservice architecture.

- Experience working with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and Docker.

- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- Prior experience in startup or fast-paced environments.

- Exposure to AI/ML integrations or automation tools is a plus.
