Job Description

The Engineering Leader Salesforce is responsible for leading a team of Salesforce developers, managers and architects to design, develop, and implement Salesforce solutions that meet business needs.

This role involves managing the end-to-end delivery of Salesforce projects, ensuring best practices in Salesforce development, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive the success of Salesforce initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

Team Leadership :

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Salesforce developers and engineers.

- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.

- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Project Management :

- Manage the end-to-end delivery of Salesforce projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring.

- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

- Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables.

Salesforce Development :

- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of custom Salesforce solutions.

- Ensure adherence to best practices in Salesforce development, including coding standards, security, and performance optimization.

- Review and approve code changes and deployments.

Solution Architecture :

- Provide technical leadership in the design and architecture of Salesforce solutions.

- Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business objectives.

- Collaborate with architects and other technical leaders to define the Salesforce roadmap and strategy.

Stakeholder Collaboration :

- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.

- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.

- Provide technical guidance and support to other teams as needed.

Continuous Improvement :

- Stay updated on the latest Salesforce technologies, trends, and best practices.

- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Salesforce development team.

- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.

Qualifications :

- Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Master's degree preferred.

- Experience : Minimum of 12 years of experience in Salesforce development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.

Technical Skills :

- Proficiency in Salesforce platform, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs.

- Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and other Salesforce products.

- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and best practices.

- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools for Salesforce.
