Job Summary :


We are seeking an experienced Engineering Lead / Technical Manager who combines strong people management skills with hands-on technical leadership. This role requires active involvement in design, development, and problem-solving while leading a team of engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions. The ideal candidate leads by example, balancing technical execution with team development and delivery ownership.

What You'll Do :


Hands-on Technical Leadership :


- Actively contribute to coding, design, and architecture of systems and features.


- Lead and participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical decision-making.

- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and guide the team through solutions.

- Ensure best practices in coding, testing, deployment, and system reliability.

Execution and Delivery :


- Own end-to-end delivery of team commitments and product initiatives.

- Partner with Product and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical plans and milestones.

- Plan sprints, manage execution, track progress, and address risks and dependencies.

- Balance feature delivery, technical debt, and operational priorities.

Stakeholder Collaboration :


- Serve as the primary technical and delivery point of contact for assigned product areas.

- Communicate progress, trade-offs, and risks clearly to stakeholders.

- Ensure engineering execution aligns with business and product objectives.

Operational Excellence :


- Manage team capacity, priorities, and workload effectively.

- Continuously improve development processes, tools, and engineering standards.

- Ensure quality, security, scalability, and maintainability of delivered solutions.

Continuous Improvement :


- Stay current with relevant technologies, frameworks, and industry trends.

- Promote learning, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.

Who You Are :


- 10+ years of hands-on software development experience, with 3+ years in a people management role.

- Strong experience in system design, architecture, and hands-on coding.

- Experience with cloud-based, SaaS, or enterprise software development.

- Proven ability to lead teams while remaining technically hands-on.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Experience working with distributed or global teams is a plus.
