About the Role :

We are building an AI-native consumer platform spanning astrology, live consultations, and intelligent services powered by modern AI systems. As we scale, we are looking for a hands-on Engineering Lead who can elevate engineering quality, improve system performance, and drive strong execution across teams.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex system challenges while staying close to the code and product experience.

Raise the engineering quality bar across the platform by improving reliability, frontend performance, and development standards while enabling teams to ship faster with confidence.

What Youll Own :

- Frontend experience across web and mobile applications

- Backend systems, APIs, and platform scalability

- AI/LLM service orchestration across multiple models

- Engineering execution, release discipline, and team quality

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and enforce high engineering standards across frontend and backend through code reviews and architectural leadership

- Architect and scale high-performance, consumer-grade systems

- Ensure a fast, intuitive, and polished user experience

- Build observability systems including monitoring, logging, and evaluation frameworks for AI services

- Improve platform reliability, latency, and deployment processes

- Identify bottlenecks, simplify architecture, and enable faster, more stable releases

- Debug and resolve critical production issues when needed

- Lead and mentor a team of 5 to 10 engineers, driving strong execution and accountability

Ideal Candidate Profile :

- 7 to 11 years of experience building and scaling B2C internet products

- Prior experience managing a team of 5 to 10 engineers

- Strong hands-on expertise in frontend architecture (web & mobile)

- Solid backend/system design experience with scalability focus

- Experience integrating and operating AI/LLM-based systems

- Deep understanding of observability, performance optimization, and reliability engineering

- Proven track record of improving engineering quality and delivery velocity

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
