KwikMedi is a fast-growing health-tech startup building Indias fastest medicine delivery and seamless lab-test booking platform. We are launching in Gurgaon and creating a scalable tech ecosystem that connects pharmacies, diagnostic centers, and customers through a robust delivery and logistics engine.

With our angel round closed and core team expansion underway, we are now seeking a passionate technology leader to drive the next stage of product development and scale.

Role Overview :

Were looking for a Head of Engineering / Founding Tech Lead who can take full ownership of KwikMedis technology roadmap, architecture, and engineering execution. You will spearhead development across Mobile App, Web App, backend systems, APIs, and logistics systems.

This is a founding-level role, initially offered with equity compensation until we raise our Seed round.

Key Responsibilities :

- Own the entire technology roadmap, architecture, and engineering processes.

- Lead development of mobile app (React Native), web app (Next.js), backend (Django), and database systems (PostgreSQL).

- Build, scale, and optimize our delivery, logistics, and order-management systems.

- Ensure stability, security, scalability, and performance of all platforms.

- Oversee integrations (payment gateway, maps, OTP, logistics APIs).

- Manage deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure (AWS).

- Hire, mentor, and grow an in-house engineering team.

- Work closely with founders on product strategy, tech feasibility, and long-term innovation.

- Drive technical due-diligence readiness for Seed/Series A fundraising.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 712 years of hands-on engineering experience with strong expertise in: React Native (iOS & Android) ,Next.js, Django, PostgreSQL

- AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, Load Balancers)

- Strong background in scaling consumer apps, quick-commerce, health-tech, or logistics tech.

- Experience in designing high-availability, low-latency, scalable systems.

- Solid understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, Git, Docker (Kubernetes is a plus).

- Ability to operate as an individual contributor initially and lead a team later.

- Demonstrated ownership and leadership in a fast-paced startup environment.

Good to Have :

- Experience with real-time tracking, maps, delivery route optimization.

- Experience building BFSI or healthcare-grade secure systems.

- Understanding of on-demand delivery business models.
