Role Overview :

Looking for a hands-on Head of Engineering to lead all tech efforts from architecture to scaling. You'll build high-performance storefronts, backend systems, and a strong tech culture from day one.

Key Responsibilities:

- Architect and build scalable, high-performance storefronts and backend systems.

- Lead all aspects of tech design, development, and deployment of web and mobile platforms.

- Establish and own CI/CD pipelines, caching strategies, and scalable infrastructure setup (containers, load balancers, CDNs, etc.).

- Optimize application performance, reliability, and user experience.

- Collaborate closely with founders and product teams to align tech strategy with business goals.

- Mentor and grow a small, high-performing engineering team.

- Define coding standards, review systems, and ensure best practices in architecture and security.

Requirements:

- 5-10 years of hands-on experience in full-stack development and architecture.

- Proven experience building and scaling consumer tech or D2C platforms (preferably in startup environments).

- Strong knowledge of modern tech stacks (React/Next.js, Node.js, Python, or similar).

- Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure), DevOps, CI/CD, containers, and caching/CDN layers.

- Strong leadership skills with ability to lead from the front in a lean, fast-paced setup.

- Degree from a top-tier institute (IIT/NIT/BITS or equivalent) preferred.
