Role Summary :
We are seeking an experienced Endur Tester with strong expertise in testing Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) applications, particularly Openlink Endur. The candidate will be responsible for validating Endur implementations, upgrades, integrations, and business workflows across trading, risk, settlements, and operations functions.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, and UAT support within commodity trading environments.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform functional, integration, system, and regression testing for Endur applications.
- Validate Endur workflows across Front Office, Middle Office, and Back Office operations.
- Review business requirements, functional specifications, and test scenarios.
- Design and execute test cases for Endur modules including trading, scheduling, settlements, invoicing, and risk management.
- Validate interfaces between Endur and external systems.
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities and business users.
- Perform data validation and reconciliation across Endur and connected systems.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables.
- Participate in release validation and production deployment support.
- Prepare test reports, status updates, and quality metrics.
Required Skills & Experience :
- 5-8 years of overall QA/Test Engineering experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in testing Openlink Endur applications.
- Strong understanding of Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) processes.
- Experience in commodity trading domains such as crude oil, refined products, natural gas, LNG, power, or related energy markets.
Experience in :
1. Functional Testing
2. System Integration Testing (SIT)
3. Regression Testing
4. User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
5. Defect Management
- Knowledge of trade lifecycle, deal capture, scheduling, settlements, invoicing, and risk management.
- Experience with SQL and database validation.
- Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, ALM, or Azure DevOps.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualification :
- Prior experience working on Endur implementation, upgrade, or migration projects.
- Exposure to Endur reporting and integration frameworks.
- Knowledge of automation testing tools is an added advantage.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- Understanding of commodity trading operations and risk processes.
Educational Qualification :
- Bachelors degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
