Endur Developer - ETRM

Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled Endur Developer with 6 to 9 years of experience in energy trading and risk management systems (ETRM), specifically OpenLink Endur.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing Endur-based solutions that support trading, risk, and back-office operations.

This role requires hands-on experience in solution design, configuration, development, and performance tuning in complex trading environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and understand requirements across trading and risk domains.

- Customize and extend Endur using OpenJVS, AVS, SQL, and .NET (if applicable).

- Design and implement end-to-end workflows, reports, and data interfaces supporting front-,

middle-, and back-office operations.

- Ensure data quality and performance optimization of Endur solutions.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams (trading, risk, IT, QA) to ensure timely and accurate delivery of solutions.

- Participate in unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).

- Prepare technical documentation, solution designs, and deployment guides.

- Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- 6 - 9 years of hands-on experience in OpenLink Endur development and customization.

- Strong knowledge of ETRM processes, particularly in power, gas, oil, or commodity trading.

- Proficiency in Endur scripting: OpenJVS, AVS, and SQL.

- Solid understanding of Endur architecture, data models, and key modules (deal capture,

settlement, risk).

- Experience with Endur Extension Tools, including TPMs, scheduling, reporting, and workflow

automation.

- Familiarity with trade lifecycle, including PnL, VaR, confirmations, settlements, and invoicing.

- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

- Ability to independently manage tasks and interact with technical and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Exposure to .NET or C# for integration or extension purposes.

- Experience with Endur upgrade/migration projects.

- Familiarity with commodity markets, risk analytics, and regulatory compliance (e.g., REMIT,

EMIR).

- Experience with Agile delivery frameworks.

Educational Qualification :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
