We are looking for a skilled Emulation Engineer to work on pre-silicon validation and hardware emulation platforms for complex ASIC/SoC designs. The role involves enabling early software bring-up, system-level validation, and debugging on emulation/FPGA platforms.
Key Responsibilities :
- Bring-up and validate SoC designs on hardware emulators
- Enable hardware/software co-verification and co-emulation
- Support firmware, driver, and OS-level bring-up on emulation systems
- Debug complex system-level issues across hardware and software layers
- Work closely with RTL, Verification, and Software teams
- Optimize emulation performance and regression execution
- Develop and maintain test environments for emulation platforms
Technical Skills Required :
- Good understanding of SystemC modeling
- Experience with HDLHVL co-emulation environments
- Knowledge of SoC architecture and system-level debugging
- Hands-on experience in pre-silicon validation
Protocol Exposure :
- SPI
- USB
- PCIe
Debug Skills :
- Knowledge of TRACE32 debugging tool
- Ability to debug hardware-software interaction issues
Tools / Platforms :
- Veloce (Siemens EDA)
- Palladium (Cadence) (Preferred)
Additional Skills :
- Experience in system-level debugging and performance tuning
- Exposure to OS/firmware bring-up (Linux/RTOS preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Collaboration :
- Coordinate with verification teams for debug and issue reproduction
- Support software/firmware teams for system-level testing
- Interface with hardware platform and infrastructure teams
