About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Azure Infrastructure Security Engineer to strengthen and secure our cloud infrastructure environment.

This role requires strong hands-on expertise in Azure security, risk assessment, compliance, and infrastructure protection.

You will work closely with platform, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to proactively identify risks, implement security best practices, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain security best practices across Azure cloud infrastructure.

- Configure and manage security controls including Firewalls, Network Security Groups (NSG), and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).

- Perform risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and remediation planning across cloud environments.

- Monitor and respond to security alerts and incidents using Azure Defender and Azure Sentinel.

- Support internal and external security audits; ensure compliance with ISO, SOC, and other regulatory frameworks.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to mitigate security risks and enhance system protection.

- Maintain documentation related to security policies, procedures, and incident management.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 6 to 10 years of experience in cloud security or infrastructure security.

- Strong hands-on expertise in Azure Security and Infrastructure Protection.

- Solid understanding of network security principles and IAM (Identity & Access Management).

- Experience in risk assessment and vulnerability management tools.

- Hands-on exposure to security monitoring and logging systems.

- Experience supporting audit and compliance activities.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Azure Security certifications (AZ-500 or equivalent) are a plus.
