Role Overview :

We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Consultant with S/4HANA expertise to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality custom developments, enhancements, and integrations in an SAP S/4HANA environment. This role requires strong technical proficiency, close collaboration with functional teams, and hands-on involvement across implementation, rollout, and production support phases.

Key Responsibilities :

- Perform ABAP development in SAP S/4HANA landscape, adhering to HANA best practices.

- Design, develop, and optimize HANA-optimized objects including CDS Views, AMDP, and Open SQL.

- Develop and enhance applications using ABAP Objects (OO) programming.

- Implement and support enhancements using BAdIs, User Exits, and Enhancement Framework.

- Build, integrate, and support interfaces using IDoc, BAPI, RFC, and OData services.

- Develop and maintain SAP Forms using SmartForms and Adobe Forms.

- Collaborate closely with functional consultants (FI, MM, SD, etc.) to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Participate in SAP implementations, system rollouts, and upgrades, including post-go-live support.

- Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve production issues with a focus on performance and stability.

- Ensure technical documentation, code quality, and compliance with SAP development standards.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP with S/4HANA.

- Expertise in CDS Views, AMDP, and HANA-optimized Open SQL.

- Experience in developing and consuming OData services.

- Proficiency in ABAP Objects (OO) programming.

- Strong integration experience using IDoc, BAPI, and RFC.

- Solid understanding of SAP technical architecture and development best practices.

Good to Have Skills :

- Experience in S/4HANA migration or conversion projects.

- Exposure to SAP Fiori / UI5 development or support.

- SAP ABAP or S/4HANA certifications.

- Experience working in Agile or hybrid project environments.
