Job Title : D365 Finance & Operations Operational Reporting Analyst / Business Analyst


Role Overview :

We are looking for a D365 Finance & Operations Operational Reporting Analyst to support end-to-end reporting initiatives across Finance and Supply Chain modules.


The role involves backlog prioritization, functional design, Power BI development, testing support, and close collaboration with business stakeholders to deliver high-quality operational reports.


Key Responsibilities :

- Prioritize and manage the backlog of Operational Reporting work items for the program

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, refine, and document reporting requirements

- Define and refine user stories and acceptance criteria

- Maintain Azure DevOps accurately with status, dependencies, and due dates

- Author Functional Design Documents (FDDs) for D365 extensions supporting operational reports

- Develop Power BI reports using D365 F&O data entities and/or Data Lake tables

- Support QA activities, including test plan creation and test execution

- Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business users

- Perform defect triage, root cause analysis, and support resolution during testing cycles


Required Skills & Experience :

Must-Have :

- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft D365 Finance & Operations (F&O)

- Deep understanding of D365 F&O data tables across :

1. Supply Chain

2. Procure-to-Pay (P2P)

3. Accounts Receivable (AR)

4. Record-to-Report (R2R)

- Experience with D365 Operational Reporting :

1. List Views / List Pages

2. SSRS Reports

- Strong experience in Power BI report development on :

1. D365 Data Entities

2. Azure Data Lake

- Solid experience working with Azure DevOps

- Ability to engage with stakeholders and translate business needs into reporting solutions


Good-to-Have :

- Knowledge of OData, Data Entities, and basic SQL

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

- Exposure to Power Platform (Power Automate optional)

- Finance or Supply Chain domain expertise


Ideal Candidate Profile :

- Comfortable working with cross-functional teams

- Excellent communication and documentation skills
