Job Title : QA Engineer - Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (FnO)

Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer - Dynamics 365 FnO to support internal IT business systems and a large-scale Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations implementation. The role focuses on ensuring end-to-end quality across ERP systems, BI reports, ETL processes, and enterprise data platforms. The QA Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to validate data accuracy, system integrations, and reporting solutions, while driving best practices in quality assurance and test automation.

This role also involves testing and supporting adjacent enterprise applications such as OpenAir PSA and SAP Concur, making it ideal for professionals with strong exposure to complex enterprise ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities :

Testing & Quality Assurance :

- Define, design, and execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end (E2E) test cases for Dynamics 365 FnO and associated systems.

- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts aligned with business and technical requirements.

- Perform BI, ETL, and ERP testing, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and performance across systems.

- Execute system and regression testing on Enterprise Data Warehouse and reporting platforms.

- Validate unit testing coverage for ETL, BI, and ERP components and ensure adherence to QA standards.

Data, BI & Reporting Validation :

- Test Data Warehouse and reporting solutions including Power BI, Cognos, and Azure-based platforms.

- Write and execute complex SQL queries to validate data flows, transformations, and reporting outputs.

- Ensure consistency, maintainability, and quality of enterprise data across reporting layers.

Automation & Process Improvement :

- Define, build, enhance, and execute test automation frameworks for regression and business process testing.

- Utilize automation tools such as Provar, Selenium, and UFT to improve test coverage and efficiency.

- Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, testing methodologies, and delivery standards.

Defect Management & Release Readiness :

- Log, track, triage, and manage defects through resolution using appropriate defect management tools.

- Generate test execution reports, defect metrics, and quality dashboards.

- Conduct release readiness reviews and support go-live activities.

Collaboration & Documentation :

- Participate in project meetings, status reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

- Coordinate with onshore and offshore teams, including developers, business analysts, and stakeholders.

- Maintain comprehensive documentation including test results, test data, and reusable QA assets.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Technical Skills :

- Strong experience testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (FnO).

- Hands-on experience with BI and ETL testing, including Power BI, Cognos, and Azure.

- Solid understanding of Enterprise Data Warehouse concepts.

- Proficiency in SQL for data validation and reconciliation.

- Experience with test automation tools such as Provar, Selenium, and/or UFT.

- Familiarity with OpenAir PSA and SAP Concur is a strong plus.

QA & Methodology :

- Strong knowledge of QA best practices, SDLC, and test methodologies.

- Experience in Agile and/or hybrid delivery environments.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting project deadlines.
