About the Role :
We are seeking a passionate, hands-on DevOps Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team and play a key role in our platform modernization journey.
This role is ideal for engineers who thrive in automation-first, cloud-native environments and are excited about building scalable, secure, and intelligent infrastructure platforms.
You will work on next-generation cloud platforms, leverage AI-powered automation, and help build resilient, self-healing systems that support applications at scale in a fast-paced product environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and contribute to platform modernization initiatives, including containerization, service mesh adoption, and migration to microservices and serverless architectures.
- Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and self-service DevOps platforms to accelerate software delivery.
- Build and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation for scalable and repeatable deployments.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and operations using tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Implement AI/ML-driven automation for predictive alerting, anomaly detection, auto-scaling, and intelligent incident response.
- Build self-healing, resilient systems focused on availability, performance forecasting, and cost optimization.
- Establish strong observability practices using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK, Loki, Datadog, and AIOps platforms.
- Embed security and compliance (DevSecOps) practices throughout the SDLC.
- Participate in SRE on-call rotations, production support, and post-incident root cause analysis.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in large-scale, distributed systems.
- Build internal tools and automation to improve platform visibility and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, architecture, and security teams to drive best practices and architectural alignment.
- Support disaster recovery, backup strategies, and compliance initiatives (SOC2, ISO, etc.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of engineering excellence and continuous improvement.
Mandatory Skills / Role Requirements :
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills in production environments.
- Product-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
Required Qualifications :
- 4-6 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd).
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, ArgoCD, Spinnaker, or similar tools.
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Pulumi.
- Proficiency in configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet.
- Experience with observability and monitoring stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Loki, Datadog).
- Understanding of AIOps / ML-driven automation (anomaly detection, predictive alerting, intelligent incident response).
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures using Kafka or cloud-native messaging systems.
- Strong understanding of cloud cost optimization and resource efficiency best practices.
Nice to Have :
- Experience with serverless architectures.
- Exposure to OpenTelemetry and advanced AIOps platforms.
- Prior experience working in product-based or SaaS environments.
