Key Responsibilities :

- Perform manual firmware testing and validation for industrial embedded devices such as PLCs, motion logic controllers, RTUs, HMI, and SCADA systems.

- Conduct protocol testing specifically on BACnet and Modbus.

- Test connectivity protocols including Ethernet, RS485, RS232, and BLE.

- Validate control logics in Building Management Systems (BMS), ensuring correct operation and compliance.

- Execute testing and validation related to HVAC systems and their components.

- Utilize testing tools and simulators related to BACnet and Modbus protocols for thorough validation.

- Follow Agile and other SDLC methodologies in the testing process to ensure quality and timely delivery.

- Log defects and track issues using JIRA or similar bug tracking tools.

- Analyze issues, troubleshoot problems, and provide solutions collaboratively.

- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, providing clear status updates and testing outcomes.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5 to 8 years of experience in manual firmware testing of industrial embedded devices.

- Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols, especially BACnet and Modbus.

- Experience testing connectivity protocols such as Ethernet, RS485, RS232, and BLE.

- Exposure to Building Management System (BMS) testing with control logic validation.

- Hands-on experience with HVAC system testing.

- Proficient with tools and simulators for BACnet and Modbus testing.

- Good understanding of Agile and other SDLC methodologies.

- Experience using JIRA or similar tools for defect management.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
