Job Description Embedded Test Engineer

Responsibilities :

- Perform functional and system-level testing at overall product level to ensure product quality and reliability.

- Develop and execute test scripts using Python or other scripting languages for automation and debugging.

- Validate and troubleshoot industrial communication protocols such as BACnet MS/TP, BACnet IP, and EtherNet/IP (EIP).

- Document and track test cases, defects, and progress using JIRA, while following Agile methodologies.

- Work independently to design test scenarios, identify issues, and support development teams in debugging.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality embedded solutions.

- Provide support for testing and validation in projects involving Motors, VFDs, and Relays (experience in these will be an advantage).

Requirements :

- Strong scripting and debugging skills (Python or any other scripting language).

- Hands-on experience in functional testing and system/product-level testing.

- Practical knowledge and experience with industrial communication protocols (BACnet MS/TP, BACnet IP, EtherNet/IP).

- Familiarity with JIRA and Agile practices for tracking and project collaboration.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and drive testing activities to closure.

- Experience with Motors, VFDs, and Relays will be an added advantage.

- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and good communication skills.
