Embedded Firmware Engineer

Note :

Only 4-5 years of experience will be considered; higher experience will not be considered.

i.MX8 Exp is mandatory

About the Role :

- We are looking for a skilled Embedded Linux Engineer to join our team in Bangalore.

- The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with i.MX8 / Raspberry Pi hardware, Embedded Linux drivers, and OS internals.

- You will play a key role in hardware bring-up activities, firmware development, and cross-domain system integration.

Key Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with the Hardware team to understand changes in hardware.

- Perform board bring-up activities for updated hardware platforms.

- Develop firmware for i.MX and Raspberry Pi boards.

- Manage Linux distribution and take ownership of modules.

- Work closely with cross-domain teams for system-level integration.

- Conduct unit and functional testing and apply robust debugging techniques.

Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong knowledge of Embedded C, C++, Linux, and Python.

- Hands-on experience with Embedded Linux drivers and OS internals.

- Experience in hardware board bring-up (i.MX / NXP / Raspberry Pi).

- Good understanding of debugging techniques and functional testing.

- Experience with compilation of Linux OS packages and related programming.

- Ability to coordinate with multiple teams for system integration.
