Embedded Developer - C Programming

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of robust, efficient, and scalable embedded systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in C programming, Linux system programming, and hands-on experience working with device-level integrations.

This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical abilities and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain embedded software components using C / Embedded C / C++.

- Work on Linux application and system programming, including system calls and low-level hardware interactions.

- Develop and manage Linux device trees and hardware-software integration.

- Participate in debugging, testing, and performance optimization of embedded systems.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality embedded solutions.

- Ensure coding best practices, documentation, and adherence to project standards.

- Participate in Agile development processes and use configuration/project management tools.

- Contribute to continuous improvement through innovation, research, and problem-solving.

Skill Requirements :

- Strong understanding of programming languages like C (mandatory), Embedded C, or C++.

- Excellent knowledge of Linux application development and Linux system programming.

- Experience with system calls, low-level hardware interactions, and Linux internals.

- Good understanding of Linux OS, tools, libraries, and open-source development.

- Familiarity with Linux device trees.

- Hands-on experience with compilation, debugging, and basic coding practices.

- Knowledge of tools such as Git/Repo, Perforce, and other configuration management systems.

- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- DFSS Green Belt certification is an added advantage.

- Added advantage: Patents, publications, or representation at industry conferences.

Qualifications :

- BE in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, or related fields from a reputed institution.

- 3 to 5 years of industry experience, with at least 23 years in embedded development.

- ME/MS degree is a plus
