ELGi Equipments - Senior Lead Engineer - Build & Release

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

- Automate build, test, release, and deployment processes across multi-environment setups.

- Integrate and manage SAST tools such as Coverity, BlackDuck, and SonarQube to support secure development practices.

- Architect and manage cloud solutions in Microsoft Azure, leveraging cloud-native components.

- Hands-on experience with :

- Azure Virtual Networks, RBAC, SSO/IDP

- EventHub / Service Bus

- Azure Application Gateway

- Istio or service mesh frameworks

- Implement Infrastructure as Code via Terraform (preferred) or CloudFormation.

- Containerize applications using Docker and manage workloads on Kubernetes (AKS preferred).

- Implement best practices around scaling, networking, security, and automation for containerized environments.

- Work with Databricks including Unity Catalog for governance.

- Support data pipelines using SQL, Postgres, MongoDB, and related technologies.

- Hands-on experience with Azure AI Foundry, OpenAI, and LLM/MLOps workflows.

- Design and support event-driven architecture using Kafka, EventHub, or similar technologies.

- Implement observability dashboards, logging, and alerts using industry-standard tools.

- Ensure platform reliability through Monitoring, Logging, PSR, Chaos Testing, and performance tuning.

- Drive root-cause analysis and continuous improvement.

- Manage Linux/Unix-based server environments for deployment, debugging, and optimization.

- Automate operational tasks using Python and configuration formats such as YAML and JSON.

- Provide technical leadership to engineering teams and mentor junior DevOps engineers.

- Work collaboratively with development, QA, data, security, and product teams to drive DevOps maturity.

- Ensure delivery of secure, scalable, and production-ready infrastructure solutions.

Requirements :

- Minimum 7 years of experience in SW Industry excluding internship and ability to deliver independently

- Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions. Automating builds, and deployments including advance knowledge in SAST tools like Coverity, Blackduck, SONAR.

- Working knowledge of Docker for containerization and proficiency in orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.

- Expertise in Azure cloud platform along cloud-native concepts, tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Apache Kafka/ Event hub, Service Bus, Application Gateway, Istio, etc.) including strong knowledge in virtual network, RBAC and SSO/ IDP.

- Proficient in Python and understanding of YAML, JSON, and configuration formats.

- Hands-on experience with Databricks with Unity Catalog, Databases technologies (SQL, Postgres, Mongo DB), Azure AI Foundry, OpenAI, LLM/ MLOps, Event-Driven Architecture.

- Knowledge of Observability, Logging, Monitoring, PSR and Chaos Testing.

- Linux/ Unix expertise for server management.

- Prefer CKD/ CKA Certified Professionals.
