We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist / AI Specialist to lead the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge AI/ML solutions across multiple industries, including BFSI, E-commerce, Publishing, Manufacturing, and Marketing. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Generative AI, NLP, LLM fine-tuning, metadata extraction, and AI-powered automation systems, along with experience in cloud deployment and performance optimization.

Responsibilities :

- Lead the design and deployment of scalable AI/ML systems, including Generative AI solutions, semantic search engines, predictive models, recommendation systems, and intelligent automation bots.

- Fine-tune and deploy Large Language Models (LLMs) such as LLaMA, Mistral, and Falcon for domain-specific applications.

- Develop high-performance REST APIs using FastAPI or Flask and optimize data pipelines for batch and real-time processing.

- Build, deploy, and manage AI/ML applications on cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, and GCP, using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Implement NLP and Computer Vision solutions, including Named Entity Recognition (NER), document/invoice metadata extraction, chatbots, and object detection.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Frontend, DevOps, QA, Data Engineering) to ensure seamless integration and deployment of AI solutions.

- Conduct system performance benchmarking, API stress testing, database optimization, and infrastructure tuning to ensure robust, scalable applications.

- Mentor and guide a team of data scientists, engineers, and DevOps professionals while independently leading key projects.

Requirements :

- Expertise in Python, R, FastAPI, Flask, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Strong experience with LLM fine-tuning, Generative AI, NLP (NER, chatbots, semantic search), and Computer Vision (object detection, image classification).

- Proficient in relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch) and data modeling/performance optimization.

- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms : Azure, AWS, GCP, and deployment of large-scale AI/ML applications.

- Solid understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and system integration.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and performance benchmarking skills.

- Proven experience leading teams and mentoring junior data scientists.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Master's in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent. Ph. D. pursuing is a plus.

- Experience in multi-industry AI/ML projects, including BFSI, E-commerce, Marketing, Publishing, or Manufacturing.

- Experience in developing end-to-end AI-powered automation systems for business workflows.
