ElasticSearch Engineer - CI/CD Pipeline

Responsibilities :

- Plan infrastructure sizing, machine selection, and resource allocation for performance optimization.

- Deploy and maintain Elasticsearch on remote Mac Studio hardware via secure connections.

- Collaborate with the DevOps team to build automated deployment pipelines (CI/CD).

- Integrate Elasticsearch into existing DevOps workflows and tools.

- Implement auto-restart, self-healing, backup/restore, and version upgrade strategies.

- Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting for cluster health and performance.

- Perform routine maintenance, security hardening, and performance tuning.

- Troubleshoot and resolve cluster-related issues with DevOps and backend teams.

- Document cluster setup, operational runbooks, and standard operating procedures.

- Provide internal training and guidance on Elasticsearch usage and maintenance.

Requirements :

- Proven experience with Elasticsearch setup, scaling, and administration.

- Strong understanding of cluster architecture, sharding, replication, and failover.

- Hands-on experience with Linux system administration; basic familiarity with macOS

administration.

- Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
