Job Description

Description :

Role Overview :

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager who can own delivery end-to-end across complex, multi-stakeholder software environments. This means managing evolving requirements, coordinating across internal teams and external vendors, and holding delivery discipline all while keeping client relationships strong.

Structure is your default. Ownership is non-negotiable. You proactively identify risks and act before they become problems not after someone raises them.

You will be the central point of accountability for delivery and communication ensuring work is planned, changes are controlled, and the team operates with clarity and stability at all times.

You will have the authority to structure communication, enforce change control, and drive delivery decisions in alignment with leadership.

Key Responsibilities :

Stakeholder & Client Management :

- Own all delivery-related communication with clients and external stakeholders

- Manage expectations across multiple stakeholders with differing priorities simultaneously and without losing control

- Frame discussions using structured trade offs timeline, priority and effort rather than direct acceptance or rejection

- Build and sustain client confidence through consistency, transparency, and proactive communication

Requirement & Scope Control :

- Manage evolving requirements without allowing uncontrolled scope creep

- Ensure no work enters execution without agreed scope, priority, and impact clarity

- Ensure every change is documented, impact-assessed, and aligned before it enters the delivery cycle

- Guide stakeholders toward informed decisions using structured reasoning and trade-offs, not pushback

Project Execution & Delivery :

- Own timelines, milestones, and delivery outcomes end-to-end

- Drive prioritisation discussions when competing demands arise, ensuring alignment between stakeholder expectations and delivery capacity

- Proactively track progress, surface risks early, and resolve blockers before they escalate

- Run structured planning and release cycles in sync with engineering, product, and QA leads

- Ensure delivery quality through clear ownership, pre-agreed criteria, and disciplined handoffs

Multi-Vendor & Cross-Team Coordination :

- Coordinate across internal teams and external vendors working in parallel

- Establish clear ownership, responsibilities, and dependency maps across all workstreams

- Resolve cross-team conflicts and delivery dependencies proactively, minimising the need for escalation

- Keep all parties aligned on priorities even when those priorities shift

Team Protection & Stability :

- Shield engineering and product teams from ad hoc client requests and unplanned scope

- Maintain stable priorities and clear task ownership across all active workstreams

- Ensure the team is focused on the right things protected from noise, not exposed to it

- Create the conditions for the team to do their best work, even in high-change periods

Process & Governance :

- Establish and sustain structured delivery processes (Agile / Scrum or hybrid)

- Maintain real-time delivery visibility through clear status reporting and tracking

- Define and enforce escalation paths for scope changes, blockers, and decisions

- Drive retrospectives and continuous improvement on delivery effectiveness

Must-Have Skills :

- Strong ownership mindset takes responsibility for delivery outcomes, not just the coordination around them

- 6 to 10 years managing complex software delivery projects end-to-end

- Prior experience in healthcare technology or digital health understanding of domain constraints, compliance expectations, and stakeholder sensitivity is essential

- Demonstrated experience in multi-stakeholder and multi-vendor delivery environments

- Ability to influence stakeholder decisions using structured communication, reasoning, and trade-offs not direct pushback

- Ability to manage scope change and competing priorities simultaneously without losing delivery discipline

- Strong command of Agile / Scrum in practice, not just in terminology

- Clear, direct, and persuasive communicator in both written and verbal settings

- Proven ability to hold firm with demanding stakeholders while keeping the relationship intact

- Hands-on experience with project management tools such as Jira, ClickUp, Notion, or equivalent

What We Are Looking For :

- Someone who brings order to ambiguity not someone who waits for clarity before acting

- Someone who can operate effectively even when information is incomplete or still evolving

- Someone who can influence without confrontation managing expectations without damaging relationships

- Someone who balances stakeholder demands with team capacity, not just one or the other

- Someone who defaults to documentation, clear ownership, and closed loops

- Someone who takes full ownership of outcomes not just tasks

What This Role Is Not :

- Not a passive coordination or status-reporting role

- Not limited to maintaining task boards and sending update emails

- Not suitable for someone who needs stable requirements before they can execute

- Not a role where you wait to be told what needs fixing
