Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce B2C Commerce Developer with strong exposure to Salesforce Order Management (SOM) to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance eCommerce solutions.

This role demands deep hands-on expertise in Salesforce B2C Commerce full-stack development along with the ability to design and implement end-to-end order lifecycle, orchestration, and fulfillment flows using SOM.

The ideal candidate will work closely with solution architects, business stakeholders, and cross-functional technical teams to deliver enterprise-grade commerce implementations.

You will be responsible for building custom cartridges, APIs, integrations, and ensuring seamless connectivity across OMS, ERP, payment gateways, and third-party systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and enhance Salesforce B2C Commerce (SFCC) applications using best-in-class architectural and coding standards

- Build and maintain custom SFCC cartridges, controllers, ISML templates, pipelines, and scripts

- Implement and customize core commerce features including product catalogs, pricing, promotions, search, checkout, payments, and customer accounts

- Design and implement Salesforce Order Management (SOM) flows covering order capture, orchestration, fulfillment, cancellation, returns, and refunds

- Configure and customize SOM objects, order summaries, fulfillment orders, orchestration plans, and integrations

- Develop and consume REST/SOAP APIs for integrations with ERP, OMS, CRM, payment gateways, tax engines, and logistics providers

- Support headless commerce implementations leveraging APIs, microservices, and decoupled front-end frameworks

- Collaborate with architects on solution design, technical workshops, and estimation activities

- Perform code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure performance, scalability, and security best practices

- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins/GitHub Actions, and SFCC deployment tools

- Provide Level 3 production support, troubleshoot complex issues, and perform root cause analysis

- Prepare technical documentation, deployment guides, and operational runbooks

Technical Skills & Expertise :

Salesforce B2C Commerce (Mandatory) :

- Strong hands-on experience with ISML, controllers, pipelines, scripts, jobs, and OCAPI

- In-depth understanding of SFCC data model, catalogs, inventory, promotions, pricing, and checkout flows

- Experience with SFRA architecture and customization

- Performance optimization, caching strategies, and security best practices

Salesforce Order Management (Preferred / Strong Plus) :

- SOM configuration and customization for order lifecycle management

- Experience with order orchestration, fulfillment flows, and integration patterns

- Knowledge of Order Summary, Fulfillment Orders, Returns Management, and Inventory Availability

- Integration of SOM with B2C Commerce and external systems

Programming & Integrations :

- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js

- Experience building RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services

- Familiarity with middleware platforms and asynchronous integration patterns

DevOps & Tools:

- Version control using Git

- CI/CD pipeline implementation and release management

- Experience with code quality, automated testing, and deployment strategies

Required Experience & Qualifications:

- 6 - 8 years of overall experience in Salesforce B2C Commerce development

- Proven experience in enterprise-scale eCommerce implementations

- Strong understanding of full-stack commerce development and integration architecture

- Exposure to headless commerce, composable commerce, or microservices-based architectures

- Ability to work in a hybrid environment and collaborate with distributed teams
