Role Overview :

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Automation Tester with strong expertise in Selenium (Java), JavaScript, and Playwright. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation solutions to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of enterprise web applications.

This role requires close collaboration with development, product, and DevOps teams in a hybrid work setup, contributing to continuous testing and quality improvement across the SDLC.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver (Java) and Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript)

- Analyze business and technical requirements to identify test scenarios and automation feasibility

- Create and execute automated test cases for functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and integration testing

- Maintain reusable test scripts and improve automation coverage

- Perform root cause analysis for failed test cases and collaborate with developers for quick resolution

- Log, track, and manage defects using defect tracking tools

- Integrate automation test suites with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing

- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and test strategy discussions

- Ensure adherence to QA best practices, coding standards, and documentation

- Prepare detailed test execution reports and quality metrics for stakeholders

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 4- 8 years of experience in Automation Testing

- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver using Java

- Proficiency in JavaScript for test automation

- Hands-on experience with Playwright for modern web application testing

- Experience with test frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber

- Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies
