Job Description :

We are seeking a Senior Pega Developer / Tech Lead with 6 - 8 years of experience to design and build scalable Pega solutions. You will drive technical design, mentor developers, and ensure integration, security, and performance best practices across the delivery lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead technical design for case management solutions, ensuring guardrails compliance and reuse.

- Own integration design (REST/SOAP, event/message patterns) and coordinate with upstream/downstream systems.

- Define and enforce standards for ruleset strategy, branching, reuse patterns, and deployment.

- Perform performance tuning and troubleshooting (PAL, AES/diagnostics, tracer patterns).

- Mentor team members, conduct code reviews, and drive quality through testing strategies.

- Collaborate with architects, product owners, and QA teams for end-to-end delivery.

Skills & Qualifications :

Must-Have :

- CSSA certification (mandatory).

- 6 - 8 years of strong hands-on Pega development experience with end-to-end delivery ownership.

- Strong design and implementation across :

1. Case architecture (multi-case orchestration, reusable subprocesses)

2. Data layer (data pages, sourcing, caching, pagination strategies)

3. UI rules (sections, harnesses), correspondence, SLAs, routing

- Strong integration experience :

1. Designing REST services, connectors, authentication patterns, resiliency and retry strategies

2. Error handling, mapping, and logging standards

- Strong debugging/troubleshooting skills using Tracer, Clipboard, PAL and production issue triage.

- Experience with DevOps practices for Pega (branching model, pipeline deployments, merge governance).

Good-to-Have :

- Working experience on Pega Constellation (implementation / migration / component patterns).

- Experience with latest Pega versions and upgrade/migration awareness.

- Knowledge of Pega best practices for:

1. Performance (DB optimization, index usage awareness, avoiding anti-patterns)

2. Security (role-based access, privilege management, secure integration)

- Exposure to cloud deployments (Pega Cloud / containerized deployments) and operational readiness.

- Experience with reporting/analytics and operational dashboards.

Nice-to-Have :

- Strong Banking domain exposure: disputes, cards servicing, lending origination/servicing, payments, onboarding.

- Experience in Pega Smart Disputes or other Pega strategic/industry solutions:

1. Pega Customer Service for Financial Services

2. Onboarding / KYC / CLM-type frameworks (where applicable in your org)

- Exposure to decisioning (NBA/NBO basics) if relevant to the program.
