Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced QA Lead to lead our quality engineering initiatives across web, mobile, and API platforms.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in test automation, mobile application testing, API testing, and modern automation frameworks, along with proven experience in leading and mentoring QA teams.

You will work closely with Product, Engineering, and other stakeholders to define quality strategies, improve test coverage, drive automation, and ensure the delivery of reliable, high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and manage QA activities across the complete software development lifecycle.

- Define and implement QA strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and automation frameworks.

- Lead testing for iOS and Android mobile applications, including functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.

- Design and execute API testing for RESTful and other backend services.

- Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test suites using Playwright, TypeScript, and Appium.

- Identify opportunities to improve test automation, coverage, and overall QA efficiency.

- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and engineering teams to identify and resolve quality issues.

- Drive defect management, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement of QA processes.

- Establish QA best practices, standards, and processes across the team.

- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

- Monitor testing progress, risks, dependencies, and release readiness.

- Mentor, guide, and develop QA engineers while effectively managing team performance and deliverables.

- Stay updated with emerging testing tools, frameworks, and quality engineering practices.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong experience in QA/Test Engineering with proven experience in a QA leadership role.

- Strong hands-on experience in Mobile Application Testing across iOS and Android.

- Experience with API Testing and validation of backend services.

- Strong expertise in Test Automation.

- Hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript.

- Strong experience with Appium for mobile test automation.

- Good understanding of functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.

- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development lifecycle.

- Experience in designing and maintaining scalable automation frameworks.

- Strong knowledge of defect tracking, test management, and QA processes.

- Proven team-handling, mentoring, and QA leadership capabilities.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
