About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Python Architect to lead the design and architecture of scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Python, FastAPI, and GCP/AWS, along with proven experience in solution design, architecture, and technical leadership.

The candidate will be responsible for translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions and driving architecture decisions across the application lifecycle.

Mandatory Skills :

- Python Strong hands-on development and architectural experience

- FastAPI Strong experience designing and developing REST APIs and microservices

- GCP or AWS Strong hands-on cloud architecture and implementation experience

- Solution Design & Architecture Proven experience designing scalable enterprise solutions

- Strong experience with REST APIs, Microservices, and distributed systems

- Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture

- Experience with database design, SQL/NoSQL databases, and data integration

- Strong knowledge of application security, scalability, performance, and reliability

- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices

- Strong technical leadership and stakeholder management skills

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and architect scalable, secure, and highly available Python-based applications.

- Define end-to-end technical solutions based on business and functional requirements.

- Develop solution architecture, technical designs, architecture diagrams, and design documents.

- Design and implement backend services and APIs using Python and FastAPI.

- Define and enforce microservices and distributed-system architecture best practices.

- Design cloud-native solutions using GCP or AWS services.

- Evaluate technology options and recommend appropriate architecture patterns and solutions.

- Ensure solutions meet requirements for performance, scalability, security, availability, and maintainability.

- Work closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Engineering teams, DevOps, and other stakeholders.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.

- Review application architecture, source code, and technical implementations.

- Identify technical risks, dependencies, and opportunities for optimization.

- Support architecture governance and ensure adherence to enterprise technology standards.

- Participate in technical discussions, solution walkthroughs, and client/stakeholder presentations.

Solution Design Responsibilities :

The candidate should be capable of independently handling :

- High-level and low-level solution design

- API and microservices architecture

- Cloud architecture and deployment strategy

- Integration architecture

- Database and data-access architecture

- Security and authentication design

- Scalability and performance architecture

- Resilience, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery considerations

- CI/CD and deployment architecture

- Technical documentation and architecture diagrams
