Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Techno-Functional Billing & Accounts Receivable Consultant with strong expertise in PeopleSoft Billing integrated with Contracts and Project Costing. The consultant will be responsible for end-to-end configuration, processing, and support of billing and receivables functions, ensuring accurate invoicing and seamless data flow across modules.

Key Responsibilities :

Functional Responsibilities :

Configure and support PeopleSoft Billing with Contracts, including :

a. Contract setup and maintenance

b. Contract lines and rate structures

c. Billing plans (Fixed-Fee, Milestone, and Recurring)

d. Event-based billing for project invoicing

- Manage Contracts-to-Billing automation, ensuring accurate invoicing for project-based billing.

- Integrate PeopleSoft Contracts with Project Costing (PC) and Pay/Bill for time and expense data.

- Execute and monitor billing interfaces and processes, including :

a. CA_BI_INTFC

b. BIPCC000

- Review, analyze, and resolve issues in Billing Worksheets.

- Generate, validate, and finalize customer invoices.

- Ensure accurate Accounts Receivable (AR) processing, including :

a. Billing distribution to AR

b. Invoice posting and customer balances

c. Troubleshooting billing-to-AR issues

- Support month-end and quarter-end billing and receivables activities.

- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements, provide solutions, and optimize billing processes.

- Provide functional documentation, user training, and post-go-live support.

Technical Responsibilities :

- Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft PeopleTools and core technical components.

- Strong working knowledge of :

a. Application Engine

b. Component Interface (CI)

c. SQR

d. BI Publisher

e. Integration Broker

f. SQL

- Analyze and troubleshoot billing, contract, and AR integration issues.

- Support customizations, enhancements, and interfaces related to Billing and AR modules.

- Ensure data integrity and smooth data flow between Contracts, Project Costing, Billing, and AR.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 10+ years of experience as a PeopleSoft Techno-Functional Consultant.

- Deep expertise in PeopleSoft Billing and Accounts Receivable.

- Strong functional knowledge of PeopleSoft Contracts and Project Costing.

- Proven experience with fixed-fee, recurring, and event-based billing models.

- Extensive experience running and supporting CA_BI_INTFC and BIPCC000 processes.

- Strong troubleshooting skills across Billing, Contracts, PC, and AR integrations.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with business and technical teams.

- Experience in on-site or hybrid environments preferred.

Nice to Have :

- Experience in financial services or large enterprise environments.

- Prior contract consulting experience.

- Exposure to system upgrades or PeopleTools enhancements.
