We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in building and maintaining scalable data pipelines and modern data platforms.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in PySpark, AWS, SQL, and dbt, and will work closely with analytics, data science, and business teams to deliver reliable, high-quality data solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines using PySpark and Apache Airflow.

- Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows to process large volumes of structured and semi-structured data.

- Develop and manage cloud-based data solutions on AWS (S3, Glue, EMR, Redshift, Athena, etc.).

- Write efficient and optimized SQL queries for data transformation, analysis, and reporting.

- Implement analytics-ready data models using dbt (data build tool) following best practices.

- Ensure data quality, validation, monitoring, and performance optimization across pipelines.

- Collaborate with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and stakeholders to understand data requirements.

- Implement CI/CD best practices for data pipelines and version control using Git.

- Troubleshoot and resolve data issues, ensuring high availability and reliability of data systems.

- Document data flows, transformations, and architecture for maintainability and knowledge sharing.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.

- Strong hands-on experience with PySpark / Apache Spark.

- Solid experience with AWS cloud services (S3, Glue, EMR, Redshift, Athena).

- Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases.

- Hands-on experience with dbt (data build tool).

- Proficiency in Python for data engineering tasks.

- Experience with ETL/ELT frameworks and data pipeline orchestration.

- Familiarity with Git and version control systems.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
