About The Role:

The Core Infrastructure Team builds and operates the foundation on which all Eightfold services run.

From managing compute, storage, and observability to building tools that power the engineering ecosystem, this team ensures scalability, reliability, and efficiency across the companys platforms.

As a Senior Engineer on this team, youll design and develop high-performance infrastructure systems that support a global AI platform used by millions.

This is a hands-on engineering role with broad ownership and the opportunity to influence platform architecture and tooling.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain core infrastructure services that power Eightfolds platform at scale.

- Build automation and tooling to support service provisioning, monitoring, security, and reliability.

- Own systems related to compute orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), networking, and cloud infrastructure (AWS).

- Collaborate closely with product engineering, data, and security teams to ensure platform stability and performance.

- Contribute to observability, logging, and alerting frameworks to proactively detect and resolve issues.

- Drive best practices in infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation.

Qualifications :

- 3+ years of experience in systems or infrastructure engineering (roles open across experience levels).

- Proficient in at least one programming language (e.g., Go, Python, Java).

- Strong understanding of distributed systems, Linux, networking, and cloud-native technologies.

- Hands-on experience with tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or Prometheus.

- Experience building or operating production systems on AWS or similar public cloud platforms.

- (Bonus) Exposure to platform security, cost optimization, or infrastructure reliability.
