Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced SDET Manager to lead and grow our test engineering team.

As a first-line manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and scalability of our AI-driven SaaS products.

You will work closely with engineering, product, and platform teams to drive best practices in test automation, quality strategy, and release readiness.

What You Will Learn To Do :

- Lead and mentor a team of SDETs and QA Engineers, ensuring high-quality deliverables across multiple product lines.

- Define and implement the overall test strategy, automation frameworks, and quality best practices for SaaS-based applications.

- Partner with product and engineering teams to ensure test coverage, automation-first approach, and seamless CI/CD integration.

- Own release quality metrics, continuously improving reliability, scalability, and performance testing processes.

- Drive adoption of modern testing tools and frameworks (UI/API automation, performance, security, and data quality testing).

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify quality gaps, reduce defect leakage, and improve release velocity.

- Establish and monitor KPIs for the QE function, including automation coverage, defect trends, and release stability.

- Hire, coach, and grow top-quality engineering talent.

What We Look For :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 8 to 12 years of industry experience in software testing and automation, with at least 2+ years in a leadership/managerial role.

- Strong expertise in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, PyTest, etc.

- Hands-on experience in programming/scripting using Python

- Proven track record in testing SaaS-based enterprise products (preferably in large-scale, data-intensive domains).

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, etc.

- Familiarity with modern AI-assisted development tools, such as Cursor or similar, to accelerate automation/coding workflows.

- Exposure to performance testing, security testing, and test data management.

- Excellent people management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
