Role Summary
We are seeking an exceptionally seasoned and highly skilled Senior Program Business Analyst (BA 4) to drive the successful delivery of complex, enterprise-level programs.
This role requires a hybrid BA/Program Coordination capability, leveraging extensive experience in both Business Analysis and Project/Program Management to bridge the gap between executive stakeholders, business units, and technology teams.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a matrix management environment, leading cross-functional teams to align strategy, scope, and execution across multiple simultaneous project streams.
Key Responsibilities :
Program Leadership & Coordination
- Serve as the Lead Business Analyst across large-scale modernization or transformation programs, managing activities that span multiple project workstreams.
- Demonstrate strong matrix management experience by effectively leading, coordinating, and providing direction to teams across business, technology (development), and quality assurance (testing) functions.
- Utilize strong organizational and project management skills to manage multiple project activities simultaneously within the broader program.
- Coordinate all project activities and provide expertise throughout the design, development, and implementation phases of the program lifecycle.
Scope, Requirements, and Quality Management
- Maintain ownership of scope & requirements management across the program, ensuring clear traceability to strategic objectives.
- Facilitate comprehensive requirements gathering sessions, workshops, and documentation for complex features and process changes.
- Define and govern quality management and test management approaches and processes at the program level.
- Collaborate extensively with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), business stakeholders, and program leadership to define business needs and validate solutions.
Program Governance & Change Control
- Be the central coordinator for all program change requests (CRs), including facilitating briefings, managing approvals, and prioritizing changes.
- Manage program scope change and enhancement scheduling meticulously, ensuring minimal disruption to planned delivery while maximizing value.
- Proactively monitor and facilitate tasks execution status for each project area, escalating risk areas and impediments to program leadership as needed.
- Drive program-level decision-making and obtain necessary approvals from key stakeholders.
Required Qualifications & Experience :
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Business Analysis, with at least five (5) years or more operating in a Senior or Lead Business Analyst capacity.
- Five (5) years or more of experience, including matrix management experience leading business, technology, and testing teams in a large organizational setting.
- Five (5) years or more dedicated experience in formal scope & requirements management, quality management, and test management approaches and processes.
- Extensive, hands-on experience with both Agile (e.g., Scrum, SAFe) and Waterfall project management and delivery methodologies.
- Five (5) years or more of hands-on experience using various project management tools, test tracking tools, and change management tools, with a strong preference for Azure DevOps
