About the Role :

We are seeking a skilled Edifecs Developer with 4+ years of hands-on experience in Edifecs tools, EDI integrations, and healthcare transactions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining EDI workflows, ensuring high-quality data integration within healthcare payer and provider environments. This role requires strong domain knowledge, technical expertise in Edifecs solutions, and solid understanding of EDI transaction standards.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement EDI workflows using Edifecs tools and components.

- Work with healthcare EDI transactions such as 837, 835, 834, 270/271, 276/277 to support payer and provider operations.

- Configure and maintain Edifecs components including :

- Edifecs XEngine Server

- Edifecs SpecBuilder

- Edifecs Transaction Manager (TM)

- Edifecs Integration Console

- Edifecs Healthcare Transaction Repository (HTR)

- Perform data validation, transformation, and mapping using XML, XSLT, JSON, CSV, and flat file formats.

- Utilize SpecBuilder for creating, modifying, and managing EDI specifications and data maps.

- Work with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, and SQL Server, writing complex SQL queries for data extraction and validation.

- Develop integration solutions using REST/SOAP web services.

- Write and maintain scripts in Groovy or JavaScript within Edifecs environments.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, and operations to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

- Perform root-cause analysis on EDI-related failures, errors, and performance issues.

- Maintain logs, monitor deployments, and follow best practices for server and environment management.

- Utilize Git or similar version-control tools (nice to have) in CI/CD environments.

Database Skills :

- Strong SQL skills

- Experience with relational databases : Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server

Middleware & Integration :

- Experience with REST and SOAP web services

Programming & Scripting :

- Proficiency in Groovy or JavaScript

- Java (nice to have)

EDI & Healthcare Domain :

- Hands-on experience with healthcare EDI transactions : 837, 835, 834, 270/271, 276/277

- Understanding of healthcare payer and provider workflows

Data Integration & Transformation :

- Experience with XML, XSLT, JSON, CSV, flat files

- Data mapping and transformation using SpecBuilder

DevOps & Version Control (Nice to Have) :

- Git, CI/CD tools, deployment best practices

Other Skills :

- Understanding of servers, logs, and application deployment best practices

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues

- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
