Position Summary :

The EDI Developer will be a technical anchor for a high-impact global ERP and Supply Chain Management (SCM) integration project. This role is responsible for the end-to-end development, mapping, and execution of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) solutions that facilitate seamless communication between our enterprise systems and a global network of 3PL providers, wholesalers, and logistics partners. You will be tasked with architecting robust "Order-to-Cash" (O2C) transaction sets, ensuring data integrity across multi-country environments, and integrating these flows with Oracle Fusion ERP and other modern SCM platforms.

Responsibilities :

- Lead the hands-on development and configuration of EDI mapping and translation logic for high-volume enterprise applications.

- Design and implement mission-critical EDI transaction sets, specifically focusing on Order-to-Cash (O2C) flows including 850 (Purchase Order), 855 (PO Acknowledgement), 856 (Advance Ship Notice), and 810 (Invoice).

- Architect and manage secure file exchange protocols, including SFTP, AS2, and REST API integrations, to ensure reliable data movement between internal and external partners.

- Integrate EDI workflows with Oracle Fusion ERP / SCM modules, ensuring real-time visibility into supply chain operations and warehouse activities.

- Collaborate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and external vendors to define technical specifications and onboarding protocols for new trading partners.

- Map complex business logic for Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) and wholesale environments into standardized EDI formats (ANSI X12, EDIFACT).

- Develop and maintain technical documentation for integration designs, mapping specifications, and partner-specific connectivity profiles.

- Monitor integration health, perform deep-dive troubleshooting of failed transmissions, and implement automated alerting for data discrepancies.

- Drive the transformation of legacy file-based integrations into modern API-driven architectures to support fast-paced, multi-country business requirements.

- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and end-to-end integration testing to validate data accuracy across ERP, WMS, and TMS systems.

Technical Requirements :

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in EDI development, specifically in mapping and delivering integration solutions for large-scale enterprise environments.

- Proficiency in ANSI X12 and EDIFACT standards, with a mastery of O2C transaction sets (850, 810, 856, 880, etc.).

- Technical expertise in connectivity protocols : SFTP, AS2, and HTTPS, with experience managing secure certificates and encryption.

- Strong background in integrating EDI with ERP platforms; specific experience with Oracle Fusion ERP / SCM is highly desirable.

- Proficient in using middleware or EDI translation tools (e.g., Boomi, MuleSoft, Sterling Integrator, or Oracle Integration Cloud).

- Deep understanding of Supply Chain operations, including 3PL workflows, warehouse management, and wholesale logistics.

- Experience in building and consuming REST/SOAP APIs for modern system integrations.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry, handling complex retail and logistics requirements.

- Proven ability to work independently in a remote, offshore model while maintaining high ownership of project deliverables.

- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively between IT teams, business units, and external vendors.

- Knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend troubleshooting within ERP databases.

- Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies and tools like JIRA for tracking integration sprints.
