Job Description :

EDI Consultant- SAP PO/CPI for Transactions 810 (Invoice), 856 (ASN), 850 (Purchase Order), 855 (Purchase Order Acknowledgement), 844 Inbound - Product Chargeback, 845 (Pricing Status) and 849 (Product Chargeback Adjustment).

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain EDI solutions using SAP PO and SAP CPI.

- Implement EDI transactions, such as orders, invoices, and delivery notices, using industry-standard EDI formats like EDIFACT, X12, and TRADACOMS.

- Configure EDI message mapping and transformation (e.g., XML, CSV, flat files) to ensure accurate data exchange between SAP and external trading partners.

- Configure and manage communication protocols such as AS2, FTP, SFTP, and HTTPS for secure and reliable data transmission.

- Ensure seamless integration of external EDI systems with SAP PO/CPI using industry-standard protocols.

- Work with mapping tools (like Graphical Mapping, XSLT Mapping, or Java Mapping) to transform data between different formats (e.g., EDI to IDocs, XML to EDI).

- Configure message types, segments, and transaction sets for EDI formats.

- Use tools such as SAP PI/PO Integrated Mapping to map data between SAP and external EDI formats.

- Provide support for EDI-related issues and troubleshooting of data transmission problems.

- Analyze error messages, logs, and trace data to identify and resolve issues in the integration process.

- Ensure continuous operation of the EDI systems by identifying and mitigating any data or transmission bottlenecks.

- Perform unit testing, system integration testing, and end-to-end testing of EDI messages and interfaces.

- Validate the correctness of EDI transactions and ensure compliance with the partner's requirements.

- Hands-on experience with EDI protocols (AS2, SFTP, FTP, HTTP/HTTPS) and EDI standards (EDIFACT, X12, TRADACOMS, etc.).

- Strong knowledge of SAP PO (PI) and SAP CPI adapters, iFlows, and integration techniques.

- Experience in message mapping, XSLT, Java Mapping, and B2B processes for EDI integrations.

- Familiarity with SAP IDocs, RFC, SOAP, REST, and web services for EDI communication.

- Expertise in EDI configuration in SAP PI/PO and SAP CPI.

- Proficiency in message transformation, data mapping, and integration flow design.

- Experience with SAP Cloud Integration for cloud-based B2B integrations.
