About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Product Development Lead with strong hands-on expertise in C/C++ development and a solid understanding of software design, architecture, data structures, and algorithms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a small development team while remaining hands-on with coding, design, code reviews, and technical problem-solving.

Experience working on Finacle or banking/financial technology products will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and mentor a team of 3 - 4 developers, providing technical guidance and support.

- Drive end-to-end software design, development, testing, and delivery.

- Develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code using C/C++.

- Participate in and independently conduct design and design review discussions.

- Understand and contribute to software architecture and technical design decisions.

- Apply strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and design principles to solve complex technical problems.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.

- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to development and coding standards.

- Contribute to technical documentation and maintain relevant development artifacts.

- Develop and work with APIs, libraries, and reusable software components.

- Independently code, debug, test, and troubleshoot applications.

- Collaborate with QA teams and leverage relevant QA/testing tools to ensure product quality.

- Work with SQL/MySQL and relational databases for application development and troubleshooting.

- Participate in Agile development processes, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

- Identify technical risks and provide solutions to improve product performance, reliability, and scalability.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong hands-on development experience in C/C++.

- Strong understanding of OOPS concepts, pointers, memory management, and core programming concepts.

- Excellent knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms.

- Strong understanding of software design principles and design patterns.

- Ability to handle complex software design and architecture discussions.

- Good experience working in Linux/Unix environments.

- Strong understanding of RDBMS, with experience in SQL/MySQL.

- Knowledge of API development and library development.

- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

- Experience working with Agile methodologies.

- Strong analytical, logical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to independently develop and test code while effectively collaborating with team members.

- Prior experience in technical leadership/team handling with a team of 3 - 4 members.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience working on Finacle or banking technology products.

- Experience in banking/financial services domain.

- Exposure to large-scale, enterprise-grade product development.

- Experience with software architecture, performance optimization, and scalable system design.
