- Performs data extractions and analyse Practice Management/EMR data from various source database management systems like SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase to evaluate data for migration.

- Comprehensive database management, migration of MSSQL and MYSQL, and discussing the process of the data migration team with the client during sales / pre-data migration calls.

- After extracting data, he evaluates the data from the practice's current EMR system, he then discusses and communicate with the US clients regarding the data extracted, data requirements and the Data Migration process.

- Once the call is done with the client regarding evaluation of data, he/she then prepares programs/tools for conversion and migrate data into eClinicalWorks Database using SSIS and custom JAVA and VB Programs.

- Performs Extensive Database- Schema Analysis to find required data for migration.

- Help clients in basic testing of the migrated data and explain any exceptions encountered

- Preparing tools which are needed to parse the data and convert it in a readable format.

- Bug fixing whenever required and prepare documents which are helpful to team members.

- Take needed precautions when it comes to patient data safety and HIPPA compliance while migrating data into eClinicalWorks. It is his top priority to take care of any such issues that may arise from migrating the data.

Skill Requirements :

- Proficient with relational databases (MySql, MsSql)

- Knowledge of SQL Servers

- Knowledge / Experience with Java or C++ (OOPs Concepts)

- Experience with Internet Protocols, HTTP / HTTPs (Default ports for HTTP / FTP / MYSQL etc)

- Knowledge/Experience with XML / XSL

- Basic Knowledge of Web Application Server(s)

- Understanding of 3 -Tier / N-Tier Architecture

- Basic Knowledge of Network Concepts (VPN, Telnet, Ping, Protocols, etc)
